Town Leadership

As a part of the Pick/Sloan Plan, Pickstown and Fort Randall Dam was a joint civil and military endeavor that applied the best lessons learned from other military/civilian efforts ranging from building military bases and structures to project specific towns, such as those created for the Tennessee Valley Authority, Hoover Dam in Nevada, Fort Peck Dam, Montana, Los Alamos in New Mexico, Hanford, Washington and Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
